rumble strip noises on a 300C

Hello All-

I have a '05 300C that makes a rumbling vibratiion feel and sound at 45 and up MPH. The sound will come and go, but is very frequent. I can make it stop with some acceleration or coasting . It sounds like I'm running over the rumble strips but there are none about. Less then 5,000 miles on the car. Bought it new in March '05

Has anyone heard of this or experienced this?

I sure hope Chrysler didn't stick crappy tires on the 300C like they did on the early 300M.

Mine has Continentals, I did not know they still made tires.

Since it's under warranty, please refrain from second-guessing the dealer until after he's failed to fix it once. Who knows he might surprise you!

Ted? Are you addressing me?

Please reread my post. No where in it did I second guess my dealer about the problem.

I took the car into the dealer today and they think it is the torque converter. Some water leaked in to the tranny around the dip stick . They have to drain fluid and refill and change the filter. Filter is out of stock. Car will be ready on Thursday.

No second guessing from me. Conti-seal tires are not cheap and in good shape.
