I want my capri back!!

Jun 20, 2005 14 Replies

Basicly I sold my capri about 8 years ago She was a 1987 D reg 2.0 Laser in white Reg no: D262 ODM. If anyone knows of her whereabouts please let me know. She was not perfect when I sold her (and bought an Astra Belmont) But I loved her and have regretted it ever since. If anyone knows where she is please let me know at snipped-for-privacy@supaman.com Thanks for reading this.

Can't help you, but I do have a lovely red 1987 D reg 2.0 Laser which you can buy off me for sensible money if you don't mind doing a bit of work on it.

Only minor stuff, all parts included..

It has not been taxed for the last five years so almost certainly it is long gone to the scrap yard in the sky.

You can check the DVLA website to see if it's been taxed lately. If not, guess your shed has met its rightful fate in the hands of some Barry.

No, that was two cars welded together you bought off eBay. So that was good value really - two Barry cars for the price of three.

I saw a Crapi last night.

A violently lime green Mk 1. Totally 70s-tastic.

I didn't know you could do this, so I now know that:

B593 SAJ (was B370 BNH then MIW 3518) is now not licensed (probably scrapped) MVY 991T the same D570 XJL (was D379 MFU) the same NVN 99M the same

Anyone notice a theme here?

*WANT*

(Well, only if it's a V6)

It wasn't.

I once took an RS3100 for a test drive. It was bright yellow, with the widest wheel arches (nicely filled) and deepest and biggest set of spoilers and side skirts I had ever seen. And boy did it make some nice noises.

Still regret not having the courage to buy it. I suspect it would have been a real mistake, but a fun one:-)

I saw 2 2.0 Lasers today. One was well saggy at the rear - sad. If it ain't got a turbo it HAS to be at least a 2.8.

The only colour I'd consider!

Along with magenta if buying a Triumph.

You sell your cars just in time?

One of my earliest memories (although I must have been about 4) is going with my dad to pick up a brand new company Mk3 Cortina from the dealer - it was that same lime green.
