Transmission problem
sometimes it works in reverse sometimes it does not. is this the transmission itself or a sticky valve or sensor somewhere?

More like the need to adjust the reverse band. Get a repair manual to find the location and proper procedure.

i am going to try to find this i guess but first i must ask, is this inside the transmission or on the exterior- i know it sounds like a dumb question at the very least it looks like something must have to be removed thanks
i am waiting for it to cool down at the moment
nope didnt work, but was worth the couple bux to learn some new stuff thanks

your best bet is replace the valve body and if you have a trans cooler on it replace it and put a new filter on before putting on the pan the valve body is a problem on then
