I looked at a 1977 Trans Am and 1978 Formula 350 this weekend and I was wondering what other Trans Am buyers would offer for these cars. Neither seller had a set price and wanted me to "make an offer". I told them I would get back to them with a price. The 77 TA is in rough shape but has alot of good parts on it. Visit my webiste and take a look at the pictures and let me know what you would offer.

Thanks for your input.
If the "SE" is not a legit SE and numbers matching, it's a worthless parts car. Same on the Formula. The '77 was black originally according to the cowl tag. You can send the VIN # away to PHS and they will verify if it's an SE. Not all SE cars had the cowl tag stamped as they should.
I'd offer $800 for both and expect change. LOL :) Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 27k orig. '79 "Y89" 400/4 speed 10th Ann. T/A, 57k orig '84 Olds 88 Royale Bgm 2 dr, 307 "Rocket" (lol), 143k and still going....
I'll go along with Bigfig. The formula while looking cleaner, may have been a plain Firebrid that someone put a formula hood on. The TA is a parts car. The Formual is going to need rear quarters. All depends on on much room, time and $$$ you have.
Good luck.
