FS. 2nd gen. cruise control

I have a kit of parts to put cruise control on 2nd gen. TransAm which I would like to sell as I am never likely to get around to fitting it. I am in the West Midlands U.K.

TIA

It's used, I don't know how to tell if it is O/E or aftermarket, I can't find any numbers on the parts.

Yes but (a) theirs is about $200, I would be happy with a third of that and (b) they are in the US

Aftermarket cruise control is crap. If the vehicle didn't have it originally, the only way to retrofit it is to get OEM parts.

David: Send a photo of it, I can tell you if it's OEM or not. Usually the turn signal lever is the giveaway.

Based on the photo you sent me, David, that would be consistent with factory OEM cruise control :).

That lever is still available from GM, pretty reasonably. What are you asking for it?

How about $65 plus postage? We will be coming to Orlando at the beginning of December and could post it from there. If you are interested I could send you pictures of the rest of it so that you can make sure it is all there.

Dave:

Too high for me (no offense), I get those setups for $10 in the junkyard :). Joe--ASE Certified Parts Specialist & 10th Ann.Club Tech Director '80 Carousel Red Turbo T/A, 27k orig. I take it that's a no sale then! LOL American cars are very rare in the junkyards over here.
