My son has a '92 Crown Vic that was running fine. He parked it for a few minutes and when he tried to start it again, it had lost all power. The only sign of life is you will get the interior light and door chimes when you turn the headlights on. If you turn the ignition switch, the interior light goes off in the "start" position. If you turn headlights off, the interior lights and chime go off. Any ideas where to check first? Thanks, Mark

I'd check all the battery cables as well as the battery.
Look for corrosion on the battery terminals. There is a cheap simple tool to clean them and the connectors.
