Crown Victoria Multifunction Switch (turn signals)

Sep 07, 2004 1 Replies

The turn signals in my 1995 Crown Vic work briefly (all bulbs lit) but the flashing soon slows down and stops. When the turn signals don't flash (but stay lit) the hazards also don't flash on and off.

Was told that it may be the multifunction switch in the steering column. Is this a do it at home job or does it require special tools, etc?

Thanks,

Mike

try cleaning it first. spray WD40 into the top, down inside where the hazard switch is. INSIDE around the hazard button. Then work the hazard switch on and off about 30 times...repeat. If you do have to replace it, not a big deal. The biggest problem is it costs about $100.
