Concensus, and it seems to ALWAYS work, spray the latch area with WD-40 while working the latch, meaning open/shut door.



The switch is "behind" the latch. After it frees up and works properly, I'd then try to spray a greaseless cleaner everywhere BUT the latching pawls, as WD 40 can attract gunky dust.
