HT cables replaced. Expensive (~50 Euro = 60$ for a set of original motorcraft cables)
The car is Escort '91 1.6 105HP EFI. Used to stutter if not accelerated gradually, i.e. if I stepped on the pedal while under 3000rpm.
I suspected the fuel pump might be deficient under high load... it's around
300$ so this is a better outcome :-)
