Just had my 2000 wagon in for service and they tell me that my discs are down to 3mm and I should have then done soon. Service manager said it will cost $300 or maybe a little less. After following the recent thread on brakes this estimate seems high. I live on an island where my only service option is the dealership but I will be in Maryland later this month and could have it done there. Was thinking of trying a mainstream dealership in hopes of a lower cost or possibly a Meineke/Sears/Pepboys operation.
Any advice appreciated .....
