2000 F250

I've got a 2000 F250 SD and I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the CD or DVD tech manuals. There are some for sale on ebay; are they better than the Haynes/Chiltons books or about the same?

Anything is better than Haynes or Chiltons. The CD's are excellent. Especially the price (should be around $20 to $40) as compared to the ones you can get from Ford's Technical Publishing Department. A full set of them will set you back $200-$300. I have both the CD and the manuals. I prefer the manuals because many time you want to place bookmarks and flip between sections quickly and can not do that with the CD. However, they will pay for themselves in short order. If you want to order the paper manuals, you can call Ford at 1-800-782-4356, M-F,

8:30AM-6:00PM EST.

Addtionally, the paper manuals are easier to handle in the garage than trying to look at a computer with greasy hands.
