Extended Service Plan???

So if that's the only use for the plan, it cost you 1185.00 + 50.00 I'm sure you rounded the 1200 estimate... they would've gotten the 35 bucks from you with taxes or something ;)

Read the warranty CAREFULLY to see what is and what is not covered. Most of the extended warranty plans I've seen have a specific list of parts they will cover. If the part(s) that failed aren't on the list, you're SOL. If the contract doesn't have the list, call the warranty administrators and ask them to send you the list.

And even if they are on the list, expect to have to argue to get parts covered as they sometimes use the ususal ware clause.

Don't bother arguing with the plan administrators. They're pretty much scripted robots. Take it up with the service manager and claw your way up the food chain if he/she can't or won't help.

I'm embroiled in this very kind of battle right now with my wife's effin' P.O.S. Jeep. Me and the general manager are now going at it and I'm seriously considering going to the State and it's Lemon Law. In the 14 months she's owned this thing (I told her to stay the %&* away from Chrysler products) it's had a cracked head, 2 radiators, a water pump, an A/C compressor and 2 batteries take a crap. This time it's another effin' battery and a body control module.

Anyone know a clever arsonist?? ehehhe

Dam Kevin, doesn't seem like that Jeep has seen too much on or off road time for that matter. Depending on what state your from sounds like you may have a good chance at winning a lemon law claim...One thing though, if it has left you stranded because of any of those malfunctions you'll stand a much better chance to win. None the less, I'd at least look into it. Good luck! Rich
