Earlier this year, I bought a used but nice 98 F150 4x4 with 5.4, regular cab, and long bed which I really like so far. The manual says it has a 24.5 gal tank. Last time I filled it up, the gauge said 1/4 tank but I put in just over 25 gal. Do I have a guage sensor problem or a larger tank? When the weather gets warmer, I'll take along an extra gallon gas can and run it dry to find out for sure. In the mean time, I'll just fill up at 1/4 tank.
