I did a quick KBB retail quote for $10,245....I had a white '95 with 142,000 on it when I traded it in for another f-150 Lariat, 2 yrs ago and the dealer gave me $11,000, you can always get more by selling outright....you ought to keep it, there a lot of fun and will begin to appreciate soon....except for my '71 429scj Ranchero I bought new in '71 the Lightning was/is the most fun vehicle I've owned....your dad probably thought it was fun too, ya ought to keep it....just my humble old fart opinion....cc
CC, I agree completely. Depending on the condition of the truck i'd say it is worth around 9-11 thousand right now. In 10 years, who knows what it will be worth. I've had 4 vehicles(i know, not many) but two were mustangs(5.0's) and one was stroked and built and probably ran low
12's(never ran at the track) but my stock '94 lightning is way more fun to drive than it was. These trucks are great, its like a mustang with a bed that weighs 4500 pounds, yet it still handles better than a modded mustang. I always said I would never get rid of my mustang, then I rode in a lightning. Next thing I know, i traded my '93 mustang for the lightning. If you can, take the truck for a nice hard abusing drive. I'll bet after you do that you'll want to keep it. Erik D. '94 white lightningMotorsForum website is not affiliated with any of the manufacturers or service providers discussed here.
