Going through both the engine (302) and trans (E4OD) on my 91 F150.
If anybody has recommendations for overhaul parts (kits) on the above It would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dirk

My 360 has a Competition brand "economy cam" in it that turned out real good for me and the 360. I believe an after market cam to suit your needs would be cool, you'll have to do some studying up on them to get the right one. I have tall tires 236/85-16's and tall gears
3.25 to 1 so a hotter cam like the "RV" cam had too high of an rpm power band for my situation even tho many recommened it.My rebuilder recommeded Edelbrock's timing chain and gears.
He claimed he could get a stock cam to run better and get better gas milage both with a 4 degree advance on the cam timing. Advancing the cam timing makes it run more like a tractor and retarding the cam timing is more for high revs. :) It's like opposite from ignition timing... sorta... anyway that's how I think of it so I can remember it. ;) Did that to 4 stroke motor cycle engines worked like a champ.
Way back when a "Shift Kit" was the thing to do to an automatic transmission, don't know if it's true anymore or not. :/
Alvin in AZ ps- how's that for a start? :)
E-mail me for parts suppliers for your E4
