I have a 97 f150 and the the check engine light just came on. I took it to advance auto and let them put an instrument on it to see what code it returned. It says that it was a vacuum problem. I chased all the vacuum that I could find and checked the ends. All seem fine however I am not convinced that the problem has been corrected. I also need to find the vacuum canister to check that but having a difficult locating it. Do anyone know where they are located on the truck? I had the check engine light reset and drove it about 9 miles and all looks fine but as I said above I not convinced that the matter is resolved cause I didn't do anything but pull the vacuum ends off and put back on..... Any suggestions?

Yes. Tell the group exactly what code you got when it was scanned.
