I've got a 97 Splash with manual trans. Trying to determine which transmission is in it, which therefore dictates what kind of oil to put in it...
Any ideas?

Uh...how about checking the owner's manual? That's a pretty good place to start when wanting to know what fluid to put in it...
I don't even know what a splash is.....
He said he had a splash of transmission fluid to put in it....
