A friend of mine owns an S-10 with a 2.2. He bought it new.

the rwd and fwd 2.2 blocks are different.

Didn't say they didn't come with 2.2L....just said that a FWD 2.2L has different casting for the mounts and "usually" won't fit a RWD application.
