My son has (or maybe had might be more the statement) a 1998 S-10 2wd
PU. He ran off the road into a ditch. This ripped the air dam off
and also created a mechanical problem. When turning hard left the
drivers wheel scrubs the back of the wheel well. Also, the steering
wheel doesn't line up at the 12 o'clock position. Strangely enough
though, the truck still tracks straight when driving. What do you
guys think was bent or damaged that would cause this to happen?
Thanks in advance!
As Ian said;
Also, the latest laser technology: i.e. Chief Genesis Velocity, isn't as
accurate as they claim.
A good tram gauge is most likely all you need, because the lower control arm
is the sacrificial part in your suspension design.
I hope this helps?
