can anyone tell me what could be wrong with a tracker that when you try to start it it will not start but when you put gas in the carb. it will run but if you turn it off it will not start back have put a new fuel pump and filter checked lines don't know what else to check thank you tracker1

See if it has a cold start injector. It may not be working. It shoots an extra shot of fuel in the intake so the engine will start. Also, a pinched fuel line or a small leak in a line may not provide enough initial pressure to start, but will allow a car to run once started.
Agree with Eightupman. A clogged fuel filter also may not allow enough fuel to start, but will allow car to run once started because of increased fuel line pressure.
