AC Fan

Does anybody know of a time delay relay I could hook up to my AC blower motor to dry the evaporator coil after I shut the car off?

L.W. ("ßill") Hughes III did pass the time by typing:

It's a mixed bag. On one side having excess water in the ac coil creates a great place for mold to build up, on the other it puts some of that water back into the jeeps interior.

As to the OP's question, that depends on how comfy you are with electronics and if your ac system is auto or manual. Because I think you will have to build one from scratch. A simple CMOS based RC delay circut and relay would probably work well. Actually there are delayed headlamp modules that might source enough current for a fan (might need a relay if they don't). Never looked into that idea too deeply.

Actually, GM makes what they call an afterblow module kit to do just what the OP wants. Don't know if it could be adapted to the Jeep(my guess is that someone who knew electronics could handle it)but it's out there. The idea is to run the fan to help the moisture to evaporate and not form mold in the ac condenser.
