Control arm bushing lubricant

Sep 25, 2003 3 Replies

I just installed new polyurethane control arm bushings on my TJ (4 inch lift). I was wondering if there was a particular lubricant I should be using that wont damage the new bushings. Even though the slop in the suspension is completely gone now, it still makes alot of noise when taking off from a standstill. Im almost positive its coming from the control arms.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I thought I read that regular grease will damage poly bushings, that you have to use synthetic to avoid breakdown.

Of course, maybe I'm falling for marketing hype
