will a torqueflite 999 or 727 bolt directly to a small block ford engine.....I have heard from only one person that it can, I am doing some research on this for my jeep...any help or info would be greatly appreciated...

You may build a small Chevrolet for your transmissions: The small block Ford iseight inches longer than the Chevy, which screws up many conversions,also the C-6 is so must stronger, that most would steer you away fromanother automatic combination. God Bless America, ßill…
