Is it illegal to drive in the State of Florida without the side bars that connect the windshield to the roll bars? Thanks

No, you can even drive with the windshield folded down as far as I have heard which means you have to take the side bars off.
That sport bar the CJ's and YJ's and TJ's come with isn't a legal requirement on a convertible vehicle.
Here in Ontario Canada, we only have to have a working windshield wiper, no mention of glass....

Mike, Thanks for the input (Again :-)
I'd imagine it would be considered teh same as a ... let's say convertible Mustang. Just a windshield, no rollcage.
Your BEST bet, is call your local LEA and get it straight from the source.

Kate, Thanks
