Drinking for effect is easy to avoid - drinking too much Chimmay because it tastes great is much more difficult !

Had it in Colorado and it was GOOD. Guinness may have competition for my stout dollars. In fact I'll try it as a black and tan!

You'll like Gillespie's or Caffrey's then..

I like "Old Jock" (why did they have to give it such a silly name ?) which has a great roasted flavour, but is unfortunately close to 7% which means you can't drink so much of it ...

my neighbor owns stone brewery. Its actually pretty good. Has anyone tried their beer?

was definitely an acquired taste for me. They have a beer calledruination that is 7% but very tasty. KH
