I just purchased a 2000 jeep wrangler sport with less than 13,000 miles. It was being used as a hunting vehicle on a private ranch and is taking some time to clean up. All of the electrics seem to work except the blinkers/hazards. There is no sign of life, not even a blinking attempt. The fuse checks good. Tail-lights, reverse lights and the center brake light all work. I wanted to check power to the blinker relay, but I don't have a manual and I haven't been able to identify the location. Any help/suggestions?

If memory serves, the blinker unit on the '00 is to the right of the steering column under the dash. If you take off the plastic trim panel under the sterring column you will see it. I'll check my FSM to be sure.
It's a big switch on the steering column under the plastic cover on my '97. Fixed it once, had to replace it once. It controls the headlight dimmer, turn signals and the four way flashers.
According to my service manual and after a quick look in my 2000 TJ, flasher can is located where I indicated previously...behind the dash on the right of the steering column, attached to the upper steering column support, not attached to the switch.
This of course doesn't discount the possibility that the OP's switch is bad.
Probably, 2001 relocated the headlight switch to the multifunction stalk, too.
