Re: Rear track bars

Are you saying you removed them?

I have two 90 YJs and the rear track bar was the first mod to both.

You didn't say what model, but if you are driving a TJ, the track bar locates the axle laterally. Removing it will cause you a world of problems.

I ditched both front and rear and front sway. (93 YJ lifted, locked- yada yada) My times in the slalom have gone down and I don't avoid small animals like I used to. Besides the front sway bar makes a mean brush hoop.

The OP's name tells us he has real leaf springs. God Bless America, ßill O|||||||O mailto: snipped-for-privacy@aol.com

I'm going to pull the rears and OF COURSE, keep the front.

Dump the rear, keep the front, but get an adjustable or lockable one for the front if you lift the YJ. The add-on brackets you get with many lifts tend to work themselves loose over time. Pat
