Looking for suggestion on bolt-on SOA kits. Need one for my '85 CJ-7. Who has what. Why is this kit better than that one? Where to buy the kit?
Please help me with this project. Not any good local shop to help me out.

Rocky-road outfitters sells a bolt-on SOA kit for YJ. May work on CJ too, not sure.

At least the CJ's wussy leaf springs have a positive arch in them unlike the Yuppie Jeeps flat saggy leafs that one usually sees with an inverted arch....

Every built up CJ that I have seen, looks as if it is going to topple sideways, when those all too narrow leaves yank the spring bushings right out of their sockets.

Earle, that is the purpose of the spring over eh. He uses the stock springs and still gets the lift....
Besides, CJ's don't fall off their springs... That's a trick reserved for TJ's... ;-)
