Travis... are you talking about the denim textured vinyl? I like the looks of the denim, but it's harder to clean. My new Best Top seats are denim, and when they get muddy, I have to take a scrub brush and a bucket of soap and water to clean them. Vinyl can be cleaned with a damp rag.

All of my canvas stuff is "black denim" and in western Colorado it has acquired the same dull brown "patina" as everything else around here. I don't even bother any more.

i've been riding my 93 yj with a soft top in black denim from BesTop for
2 years now, even in the winter. i also have the BetTop bikini top, windjammer, and tonnaeu cover, all in black denim, and they are fine. the only thing i've noticed is that sometimes the mud stains the fabric, which i couldn't care less about, but maybe i'm not cleaning it right either.Join the Discussion
