I need some recommendations for adding cruise control to my 2000 Wrangler w/auto/air/6 cyl. Would I be better off to add the factory cruise or are their some good alternatives form other sources such as JC Whitney? Any personal experiences with the installation of factory or alternatives?
I found that getting the steering wheel off was a real pain, but the rest was done in 1.5 hours and was very simple - no drilling required and it works great.
On my 99 SE it was a plug in affair as it was all prewired. No drilling and no problems. I would recommend the factory cruise.
