Just curious what other 06 Sportage owners think about their car? I have one and really like it and feel like I got more for my money than say compared to a Ford Escape. Wife has a Hyundai Sante Fe and while it has more power (never driven a Hyundai Tuscon which would be the Kia counterpart), I must say I like the overall feel of the Sportage better.

I like my 2006 Sportage. I looked at an 05 Tuscon - I thought the interior with the brushed alum was better thatn the cloth type stuff - looked more elegant. I have the V6/Auto. There's good accelaration from the start or slow roll after that it isn't really powerfull but it is fine and pulls up hills with me 300Lbs and music gear - So far 3000 mi and happy.
