Hi all, This is the V8 to 2.5TD conversion, nearly finished, but...
One issue I have, is trying to get the temp sender to fit.
I have a new sender (PRC2505) it's the correct diameter for the hole on the head, but different thread pitch, so I ordered the adapter shown in the parts list (ERC9432), but this is to fit in a much larger hole in the cylinder head (even larger than another hole that is blanked off on the head).
Anyone any ideas as to why this is, and how to fix it.
Hole in the head is approx 15mm dia, and pitch is 1.0 (metric is the only pitch gauge I have). The other hole (that is blanked off but could be used) is 20mm dia and 1.75 pitch.
Hoping of course to use the same temp gauge I have fitted from the V8. Thanks alot, Andrew
