Is it really a 2a FC 101? I thought that the 2a FC's were 109 - Or has it been shortened?

that's what i was about to say. it's more likely to be a 109", and if it's a 2A not a 2B, then it's the one with frightening handling and minimal brakes, or that's how someone reported it once :-)

the 2B apparently had uprated springs and brake servos and stuff.

Don't start that again again!!!

I liked the one that one of the mags had in that was 88". Ive always preferred SWB stuff.

Is the 2B also 109", or was it longer at 110"?.

Unlikely - as the main proponent of the previous silliness is currently 'away' :-)

You're not wrong Tom, 110" it says on my bulkhead plate, 1968 though.

my 110 handles and brakes amazingly well for a 2-ton brick. seriously, I've had cars which aren't as stable at 50-60 around corners, and which didn't stop any better either.
