I'm about to spend a short time that way, Any one recommend any LPG outlets or must see things for the short stay visitor.

stick on sky one at about 2300 tonight and catch the Road Wars boys doing a tour of the area - blues and two's optional ;-)

Especially the one towards Basingstoke, as IIRC it has an LPG station on it soon after you cross the M4. Unfortunately you're then on the road to Basingstoke ;-)
