disco 1 door lock, help please.

When I operate the fob all the doors lock, except the front passengers door, the button jumps up and down a wiggly bit and that's it. I can still lock that door with the key so it's not the end of the world, just a nuisence.

Oddly the fob releases all the door locks without a problem, anyone know what the problem is and time needed to fix it, I can't be the first person to have this problem.

I don't want to start removing door panels until I have the bits ready to put it back together again, if it's a pig of a job that needs special tools I give it to a garage but I would prefer to do it myself.

All info. greatly appreciated.

It's a little circular spring (which probably costs about 5p) that clicks over centre to hold the lock button up or down. I think someone makes them and they've been mentioned on here lots of times. It's not a difficult job but to get the lock out you have to remove the window guides which takes a bit of time.

I had a similar fault which was cured with a new central locking solenoid.
