does anyone know if a later 300tdi alarm will fit an earlier 300tdi model. after problems with mine i am looking to replace the ecu, mine is a 1995 model with a ecu number of AMR 4886, i have found a later one, ecu number
6428 out of a 1998 disco. the units are identical with the same plugs etc. i am hoping the only difference in the numbers is software version but before i shell out any cash i want to be certain.
