When I hit a small pot-hole or bump at speed the front left wheel jumps and shudders, new tyres have made no difference. Possible solution please.

When I hit a small pot-hole or bump at speed the front left wheel jumps and shudders, new tyres have made no difference. Possible solution please.
Worn swivel joint, worn damper, worn steering damper, incorrectly set swivel pre-load.
Could be either steering damper, wheel baring or shock absorber.
