Discovery 2 suspension

Hi, I have a 2001 Discovery 2 TD5 with the self levelling rear suspension. Over night it's recently developed a tendancy to lean on the near side rear. When I drive it levels up again. Also noticed something which sound like a noisy pump somewhere under the back when the engine is running, not sure if this is related.

Any thoughts on this please.

Thanks

Mark

Sounds like one of the air springs has sprung a leak, or possibly the plumbing, causing the pump to run all the time.

I have the same problemn with my TD5 1999 The following may help?

possibly a duff height sensor (very common). If the SLS ECU sees two heights that are not plausable, the system deflates into limp home mode.

new lift bags or whatever they call them. I am told they are pretty easy to install.

Best to get this sorted sooner rather than later as you will overwork the compressor if it is constantly trying to fill a split airspring.
