The RR will cease to be usable on the public highway as of 17 November. BO= R rust is the cause. Plus overhaul of front brake calipers and sundry othe= r delights.

Much to my surprise these people

have offered me a minimum of =A3250 for it. Shall I accept? TIA

Have a word with your nearest specialist vehicle dismantler.

Also check that the £250 isn't offered only as deposit on your next purchase from them.

As far as I can tell from the Ts + Cs it's cash/cheque/bank transfer on col= lection, i.e. no ongoing obligation. They make their money from the scrap = value of the steel. My 2001 SAAB 95 only rates =A3190!

Hadn't thought about specialists - the nearest is London Range Rover.

The attraction is the collection from me. My original plan was to offer it= here to anyone who wants it (free) which is what I did with the previous R= R or to get the local authority to take it away, again for no reward. Com= pared with that =A3250 seems very good.
