Eastnor

snot long til Eastnor. who's coming?

I should hopefully be there with Edward II and the caravan.

With the demise of the Malvern show (hope it can be reinstated) it's the only one I can justify this year, as I hope to be doing this

on the bike as well.

BTW, anyone else intersted in the above, you need to keep an eye on UKRMC. I suspect a few of the denizens will be going, maybe in convoy[1], mainly because they're all on some kind of SOB and they might break down.

Austin Shackles uttered summat worrerz funny about:

Not us this year... dammed work getting in the way of my social life.. I work a 10 week shift pattern and this year its managed to f*ck up all LR shows.

Of course the Unofficial is OK thus far. :-)

I like Eastnor but like many other shows... doesn't hurt to miss a whole god dammed year... heres hoping for a better LR Calendar / Shift pattern next year.

We're going to try, but we are up to our eyes at work at moment Driffield is likely, provided I can provide 4 wheels.... Steve

Probably not, personally I really only do Sodbury twice a year, the shows are all pretty much the same from what I've seen, and the weekends are a tad busy these days.

Sounds interesting!

On the weekend prior to Eastor there's Shelsley Walsh vintage sports car club hillclimb, which I'll be going to, always interesting for those who like the older machines, and the weekend after Eastor there's Supercar Sunday at Gaydon, looks like a Veyron will be there this year, and Kemble Air Show which is always good.

Wot's this? When's this??

Eastnor is one of the few show grounds / sites in reasonable distance of me... Is this a show sponsored by one of the magazines, or what?

Thanks,

M.
