Ive got a 5 litre tub of EP90 in the shed.. Its probably a good few years old... maybe up to 5.
Do you recon it will be ok to use when i change the axle oil in the 90?

Is it sealed Mark? If so, i reckon it should be OK, if not, bin it.
cant see why not. I bet there are a lof of landies going round with oil older than that in the diffs ;)
Yeah, its opened...
No point doing half a job. Bin it is.
Which bin though?
Tip?
That's a waste - it'll be OK unless dripping with water and/or the inside of the container is rusty.
There is a difference between "opened" and "sealed". Something can have been opened but has since been resealed. Depending on how much air gap there is depends on how well something will keep. A fairly full container will keep as well as an unopened one IMHO.
Open it up, inspect the oil for feel, smell (phew...), appearance. Same for the interior of the container does it still look pretty much pristine?
The waste oil receptacle at a local garage or the councils recycling facility.
If it looked new I'd use it.
