Does anyone know the fireing order and what cyclinders are wich on an 1989 Land Rover witth 3.9 L V 8 ??

Firing order 1, 8, 4, 3, 6, 5, 7, 2 ...............................
Cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7 - LH side of engine
Cylinders 2, 4, 6, 8 - RH side of engine

that would be from the drivers seat. ie. no1 front left (nearside)

No 1 is in fact the front pot. no 2, on the other side, is about an inch further back :-)

Would that be left hand drive or right ? :-)
BTW Shouldn't the firing order be cast in to the inlet manifold, or is that just for carb engines?
