While swapping the rear leaf springs on my SIII last night, I encountered a bolt that won't come out. It's the one that secures the front of the driver's side spring to the chassis, and it seems to be stuck in the bushing. I've tried liberal amounts of WD40, belting it with a hammer, and also using a socket with an extension bar to try to work it loose, all with no luck whatsoever. Any suggestions would be much appreciated, especially since I successfully did the other side the night before and it's sitting about 4" higher (the springs were seriously knackered).
Not sure about using heat, on account of the proximity to the (diesel) fuel tank.
