I have been meaning to take a picture since i did my respray back when it was still nice and hot, but today has been the first chance ive had to get a picture of it when it has not been raining and since i finally refitted all the lights and stuff and tidied the wheels up. :)

Shouldn't have trouble with people approaching on main beam.... you'll see them veer of into the hedge in front.

I've noticed that according to the number of rivets on the front, it shouldn't have that paintjob as it was only valid for the moon patrol.
I never said i'd refitted absolutely everything! :)
I need to dig the wipers out of the loft still.
I've even fitted the odd extra rivet to keep people busy.
Mine served in the elite moon patrol squadron in the last gulf war ;)
I did wonder if i should fit some sort of underlighting like the people with big posh houses tend to have that make the whole thing look all lit up and blue ish.
combined with the dukes air horn nobody can get in my way!
Put some "Jam Sandwich" stipes down the side and keep it polished. My old silver 109 ("Knobby") was thus adorned (ex- Kibblestone Garage) and it worked wonders (it looks white a night) - waved on through closed roads, people giving way on roundabouts, slowing down to the spedlimit so I could overtake - great fun! (Wearing a blue or white shirt with a dark tie also helps...... ;-) Having a similarly adorned passenger leaning out of the window waving a large ice scraper had further dramatic effects..... Can't think why.......

Did you get the kibblestone garage one when they closed? IIRC it was parked outfront 'forsale' for months beforehand (or was that another one?) but they always wanted much more money than it was worth when we enquired!.
The brushmakers just down the road was my 'local' for many years (we stayed at the scout camp pretty much every other weekend for a few years!) Don't get there as much anymore due to house moves, families and the scout camp changes :(
I suspect the BBC will be on to you soon when they need the next set of props for Doctor Who :-)
