If you won the lottery...

Was thinking about this in bed last night. What LR would you buy if you won the lottery?

Mine would be as follows:

110 TDI CSW
2.7l Power Torque tdi engine swapout (none of yer TD5 electrics to go wrong) Icelandic raised-suspension raised-body monster-38"-tyre conversion Air lockers front & rear Snorkel, of course Hydraulic winch at the front, electric on the back (best of both worlds!) Decent set of seats Gutsy, full length roof rack Full underbody protection (even with the lift) Chequer plate in abundance ...and I'd take it down to before-n-after to get it Waxoyled.

Better go and buy a ticket, hadn't I!

David

No, on second thoughts, hold the tyres, I'll go for the Mattracks. They'd be more eyecatching in Bagshot High Street.

I'd buy a 110 csw and sent it to the nice folks at overfinch.

Dear Santa .................................

I'd get on the 'phone to the nice Ibex people :-)

I'd fit a 300Tdi to the Lightweight, get it spruced up (sound insulation and such), and then look at putting a Cobra-style body on a 110 with a seriously powerful engine...

seconded m8's Ibex * is nicer to drive than my 90 (more elbow room),but then again there is a large diference in price:O)

*did 60 miles in it last nite

Winning the Lottery would simply enable me to maintain those I already own...

I wouldn't buy another LR, but I would buy something that might well be used on our existing lot... A decent TIG welder. Nice Father Christmas. :-)

we-eell... apart from a new RR just because I could...

I'd have a crack at my 100/140" 6wd 4ws project, I think. Based on 2 RR classics.

3.9 V8 LPG 4-speed auto with BW transfer box graft range rover bodies together for a 3-row seating setup, using vogue leather seats of course, and hopefully achieving 6 doors, though that might prove tricky. Failing that, the rear seats could face backwards, or maybe the middle row face backwards.

I daresay it'd get equipped with suitable winches etc. to make it look the part...

40 mph max on those...

They reckon 60, but it's academic, because I'd also buy a damn great Ifor Williams trailer and tow the whole lot around behind an L322.

:)

First I'd buy some paint for Percy and Morph....

Then retax Morph at the end of the Month rather than putting him on a SORN...followed by a full tank of petrol and a good jolly.

Then I'd have to decide how to kit Morph out...and do it...

Buy those bolts for the rear mud flaps on Alfie (Mrs D's Rangie) and sort them....

Then stage a bloody great big Landrover show at the NEC :-) with free Beer....

Then I woke up...... :-(

40 was what I found on the website. didn't find any prices though, which leads me to suspect they're expensive. I see you can have diddy ones fer yer quadbike though.
