Whilst I was obtaining quotes from sundry before settling on a classic policy I had such things as a refusal to provide cover whilst it was parked in a college car park.

The only time in 20 years of owning a car i had one broken into, was in leeds,
old nissan micra worth about 20 quid if that, absolute base model with no extra's fitted, not even a stereo fitted, parked on a driveway of an ex's house i was staying the night, and in the morning the drivers window was broken, the handbrake to gear lock had been picked and removed, and the scrote had left gouge marks on the passengers door trim from scrabbeling under the dash trying to figure out which wires to use to hot wire it,
I can only imagine he'd never done a micra before, as he'd pulled and stripped the wires that ran to the heated rear window.
And as would be typical, that night it was pissing it down.
Never went to leeds after that.
