on Wednesday evening playing || with Jumbos' 110 and a trailer with a trialer on it... Good fun and || learnt some stuff about reversing; even got it to go round a || blind-side corner... It may not seem much to all those natural || reversers out there but I was dead chuffed! Will back this up with || some practice soon...
I thort the boy done good, meself.
|| Good also to meet other faces behind the e-mail addresses on || alt.fan.landrover, thanks Richard and Di for sharing the evening. || Hope to catch up with you for a beer in N.Wales in October and will || look out for 'Spinner' in the mean-time.
Good to meet you too, and thanks for the invite. It was well worth the trip. I'll owe you a beer, then.
|| High-light of the evening was probably having a tour of Jumbos || off-road site in the dark - miles of really good tracks and more || like going for a drive in a forest (with steep hills and thick mud) || than going round a commercial off-road site. Recommended; it fully || lives up the report in this months LRO (pp 72 - 77, only fault I can || find is that the caption on the photo on p77 is wrong; that's not || Broad Haven!).
Seconded - I thought I knew Wood Park but in the dark I was totally lost. Great site but, as you found, it ain't cheap. I scoped him out for a day's offroading when we had the unofficial in West Wales last year, but cost would have been prohibitive.
