ASDA are consistently about 1.5p per litre less than anyone else in this area - there are 4 other filling places within 1 mile. As soon as any of the others drop their price AW-M do the same ... brilliant!!
The Shell station about 5 miles away is 39.9 - no chance :-)

Yes Shell are pricey, 38.6 at the nearest filling station (20miles), however my local gas conversion company does it for 36 and they fill the tank for you. Funnily enough a fitter at this business stuck a secondhand tank in an old car of his. It was only a 38lt tank, but it was free. Took to a Shell filling station whilst on holiday and filled it with 42lt of gas. Maybe the pump needs recallibrating? ;o)

S'funny you should say that but we have 2 Shell garages close to me and at both of them I can get 70+ litres into my 80litre tank - which should be full at 64. I never really thought about it before, but I can feel a call to trading standards coming on ...
