LRO Driffield Show

For some reason the brake pad / abs and traction lights flash for a sec when you first touch the brake. ABS / TC both work, and the pads seem fine so I'm hoping it's either a sensor or just because it's been sitting at a dealership for a couple of weeks and the battery is low.

Airbags seem fine, no knocks, doesn't seem to use oil or water, gearbox works, no mad messages, and it's the right spec.

Black with tan leather, pimp glass, 18" Hurricane (I think) alloys, 2000 spec lights, "A" bar with spots (this'll be coming off), ageless 3 number 3 letter plate (not Oirish) and a few other choice gubbins.

Was at a price I couldn't possibly ignore.

So, where will be the best place to sell my beloved Turbo?

Well, Ebay shifted my son's 90, it was offered on here but no takers. Someone's got a BARGAIN and he's over the moon with it (his words, not mine). :-)

would need a genny, but you can pick them up dirt cheap at the show. I bought mine there for £45 3 years ago, a little 2 stroke unit, and it has had some hammer!!

Cracking, I think the practice helps though. Sleeping through since just before Easter weekend and two teeth ready to burst through.

Proper little dude with a right mucky chuckle. I think he will fit in well :-)

Have decided to shove it on ebay and see what happens. Have started it at the very minimum I'll take (in an emergency), if someone bids then they should know what they're buying and be serious about it. Can't be arsed with all the "no reserve 99p start" business as it's far too much of a specialised thing for that to work.

I'd only end up with a multitude of muppets bidding £50 thinking that £2k is too much for a Classic. If it doesn't sell, I'll just relist it until it does. Cheaper than the auto trader.

just do what I do, tell her and if its not to her liking, tough! Be amazed at what I can sometimes get away by doing that!

If anyone's interested, I can (and will) put 13 months MOT on it on the

1st or 2nd of May. I've been waiting until I can. Spent today doing the little welding jobs it needed on the inner wings. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle the exhaust blow and then it'll be spot on.

I wish I could afford it. Somehow, though, I doubt you'd be willing to swap for a 110 V8 LPG auto project with a rusty chassis and no MOT...

What's the ebay number Pete? Sister's after a tidy Range Rover but can't afford a new one and doesn't want a P38.

Unfortunately not, but I'd like an LPG V8 Auto 110. I'm only selling it because I've got the P38, and I only bought the P38 because it was there.

Land Rovers, guaranteed to make a mess of your wallet one way or the other, but I wouldn't be without one.
