Tonight was qualifying night for the NZ Super Stockcar title. Top qualifier in his group was the UK's very own Frankie Wainman Junior in a self-built car (to the NZ rules which make UK stox look quite gentle) that he shipped out here with an eye on taking our trophy home. Best of luck to him - I'd be quite happy to see the silverware spend a year in Yorkshire.

Makes me think - I need to get my 4 year old son to such a treat - anyone know of any Banger/Bomber racing near Hudds/Halifax/West Yorks?

Thats the same place I first saw snr as well, more years ago than I'd like to admit.
